Printing update!

Hello! Mary here, with some news on how production's going.

Crisp and clean
That's our preview copy, which landed yesterday. We're really happy with how it's looking.
Next we're expecting a preview of the deluxe edition, which has taken a little longer due to the fancy gilded edging and the separate slip case production. If all goes well, that should be here next week - and at that point we can sign off the print run and begin the complex process of shipping all your books around the world. We'll be sending one batch to the US straight from our printer, and the other to the UK to our trusted distributors here. In both cases, we're slightly at the mercy of a freight and haulage system that's heavily over-taxed right now, so we'll update you more on plans and timelines when we have them confirmed.
Covenant cards are in progress, too
We have had our first test deck come through for the covenant cards, and while we're really happy with the cards themselves, the box isn't as sturdy as we'd hoped, and it doesn't seem to stand up well to shipping.
Crisp cards; slightly bashed box
Experience with other Kickstarters has taught us that if a test box doesn't come out looking lovely when we unpack it, it's not going to look good when it arrives with all of you either. So we're now looking at some alternative options that will protect the cards and also look good on your shelf after the rigours of international shipping. We have two or three possibilities in mind.

I'm happy to announce that Kill or Cure has gone through some final revisions and is now live to the public! You can find it...
I'm proud of this one! It's a 40-page distillation of everything I love and everything I think is important in Voidheart Symphony: supernatural stories of real-world issues, pulp-horror dungeon crawls, and vibrant, angry and queer characters. If you're looking for a way to show off the game to people, or a ready-made one-shot to start off a campaign, go take a look.
In other news...
Book production is continuing! We should be receiving advance copies of the print copies very soon, and our card printer is getting to work on the tarot decks. There's one other reward we're working on - the custom covenants from backers at the £200+ level. We've been working out the best ways of presenting these, and we have an idea we're excited about - we'll be in touch with you directly to talk about it soon.

Hi folks! Mary here, from Rowan, Rook and Decard. I'm helping out with production and distribution for Voidheart Symphony, and I wanted to give you an update on where things stand.
Books being printed
Now the PDF is fully complete, we've sent over the print files to our printers Livonia. They're going to be printing both the standard and the deluxe versions of the book. The deluxe cover will be black bookcloth with a red foil imprint on the front and the spine, and we're hoping to get red metallic edging on the book block too. If all goes to plan, we'll be receiving proofs to check the colours later this week, and we'll then go to print in early August.
Shipping and delivery plans
Once the books are printed, we'll then need to get them to you. International shipping is complicated at the moment, as you all know. We're planning to work with Studio 2 Publishing in the US, and with Parcelhub in the UK - RR&D has long relationships with both companies and we're confident in their service. The books will ship directly from Livonia to those two places, but we don't have exact shipping times yet - a lot of other folks in the industry are reporting delays getting books into the US at the moment, so we'll get an estimate when we know the shipping schedule and then we'll keep you updated.
Covenant cards
We've chosen a UK-based printer for the Covenant cards, and we're expecting them to send us a test deck or two in the next week or so, once we've confirmed that the artwork fits within their guidelines. As there's a smaller number of these, we're planning to courier them over to the US to fulfill orders, so there will be a much shorter shipping time once they're all made up. We'll post photos of the test deck when it lands!

Mina here! I've been hard at work sprucing up Kill or Cure from that pre-kickstarter early draft to a full-fledged quickstart that shows all the wonders and horrors of Voidheart Symphony in a one-shot setting. Here's a preview of the cover and one of the pregen characters, to whet your appetite until then!

Hello!
Just a brief update today to let you know how progress is going:
We've confirmed details with the printers, and have discovered that we can make a very nice book indeed - complete with ribbon markers and coloured page edges. Files are ready for printing, and the books should be arriving at our warehouse in August. Sorry for the delay, there, but we're doing our best to make sure this is a book you'll be glad to own.
We're also starting a full print run of the Covenant Cards, after receiving some really good-looking proofs. See for yourself:
After looking over this proof deck, I decided that one copy of each arcanum was a little flimsy, so I'm bumping the covenant card deck up to two copies of each - 42 cards - at no additional cost to you!
